Obituary of Eva Borofsky

EVA BOROFSKY BRIARWOOD,. NEW YORK April 23, 1917 ~ January 14, 2015 Eva Borofsky a retired billing clerk for the Continental Insurance Company, died peacefully at home at the age of 97. She was the daughter of the late Abraham and Sarah Lazar Borofsky of Woodbourne, NY. She is survived by her brother Simon and seven nieces and nephews, Jay, Thelma, Harriet, Mark Ira, Sheri and Donald. She is also survived by numerous great and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her Brothers: Morris and Daniel. Funeral services will be held today, Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 12pm in Anshe Tzaydik Synagogue Canal Street Ellenville. Rabbi Ben Zion Chanowitz will officiate. Burial will be in the Anshe Tzaydik Cemetery Route 523 Wawarsing, NY She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Funeral arrangements by Joseph N.
