Howard Stanley Dickman, formerly of Ellenville, NY passed away, on July 6, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in Delray Beach, Florida. Howard, was born on January 8, 1935 in the Canarsie, section of Brooklyn, where his father, Max was a well-known butcher. In 1939, Howard's parents, his mother the former Rose Levine, Max's sister, Lee Dickman Kramer and her husband Jack purchased a bucolic piece of property overlooking Cape Pond in Ulster Heights, NY and collectively they opened and operated a boarding house, which would later become the Catskills hotel, Sunrise Manor. Howard, the youngest of the three Dickman brothers grew up in the hotel, steeped in the hospitality trade. He was a graduate of Ellenville High School class of 1952. In 1954, he met Eileen Glat of the Bronx, at a social event at Mount Cathalia Ski Center in Cragsmoor, NY. They married in 1957.
