To Josh and Hollie:
It is with great sadness that I receive this news of your father's passing.
I have many fond memories of your parents and grandparents from when I lived in Hurleyville as a child and youth long ago. Your grandparents were my surrogate grandparents too.
Your parents and grandparents to me were matches made in heaven, meant to last forever. They just seemed to be perfectly matched pairs, as if they were rejoined in a reversal of the cleavage of Eve from Adam's rib. They were beautiful role models who taught us how to love and how to live. I can still picture their smiling faces and feel the loving energies they emitted.
We all will miss Oscar, just as we miss all those who have come and gone in our lives. He will always be in our memories and our hearts.
May your memories of your dad serve as a source of comfort to all who mourn him, and as a blessing to all those whose lives he touched. And in our tradition, we pray that he will be bound up in the eternal bonds of life.

Dear Josh, Hollie and family.....So very sorry to read of the loss of your dear Dad. He & your Mom were dear and special friends since my early days in So. Fallsburg in 1970. I have cherished memories of their great store on Main Street & spending countless hours in Frank & Bob's! "Big O" was lost after your Mom passed, but whenever I would see him, he always had his great smile & sense of humor! Hoping your beautiful memories will bring you peace and comfort always. Sending prayers and love, Joyce Salimeno-Gitlin

We'll remember Oscar, not only as a realtor,a neighbor at Hidden Ridge,a terrific conversationalist, but as a friend.
One highlight...we would always attend Passover services at Kutsher,s Hotel, (with Dudu Fisher)... but when that event would end, Oscar made a point of inviting us to attend services, with him at his synagogue in Hurleyville.
He was a real mensch.
We will miss him
