Our 2nd grade teacher Mrs. Solomon was SUCH a love. I am in education, in part, because of sweet and excellent teachers like her!
I will always remember her gorgeous stilettos, which made her such a fashionesta...along with her daily post-lunch change to only 2" heeled slip-ons.
Through all of my years teaching elementary and middle schoolers, then serving as a private school principal, I NEVER would have endured as Mrs. Solomon did in those heels. What a woman. The world will miss her high quality presence.

Mrs. Solomon will always stand in my memory as a beloved teacher. She guided me in 3rd grade, and helped build and sustain my love of school. I loved reading her history in the obituary, and hope that her family is lifted up by all the love shown in the comments. May her memory live in your hearts forever.

I did not have the experience of having Mrs. Solomon as a teacher. It is quite clear from the loving descriptions that many have left, that she made a tremendous impact on all she touched. That she is remembered so fondly and with so much love is a testimony to outstanding character. It is clear from the obituary that we would have differed greatly on a number of beliefs, but regardless, I admire the spirit and tenacity with which she upheld them and would have championed her right to do so. My heartfelt condolences go out to her immediate and extended family, and may her memory be a blessing. May her family be comforted amongst the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.
