Dear Eddie, What words can be said to acknowledge a friendship of 57 years. You and Howie were always 5 days older than me. We started first grade together in the Mountaindale Elementary School and graduated from Fallsburgh Central H.S. My dad worked for your dad for a number of years before going into the plumbers union on his own. We shared Hebrew School together, cub scouts, boy scouts, and most of all a love for Mountaindale! Although my mom and I moved to Florida in 1990 and I hardly saw you since, that didn't change how I felt about you. I loved you like a 'brother.' Now that you are gone I am somewhat diminished. The ties that bind us are ever strong. I wish you safe journey to peace and eternal rest.

I loved Eddie. I wish I wasn't so far away. I remember years ago when I gave Eddie a Bar Mitzvah card and it tickled him so. I think he was about 35 years old or so at the time. He was a rock. One of the best people I have ever known. My heart goes out to all of the family.
