Dear Barbra, Rosie, and family:
I will never forget all the special times I had with your mother and what an influence she has been to me in my life. I am blessed an honored to be able to call her my friend and neighbor, and my heart is heavy with sorrow over her passing. I know of no other person with her abundance of wisdom, compassion, love, and convictions. Who else would show up in the morning in her nightgown to share an extra sweet cantaloupe that she had, who else would call and sing “Those were the days my Friend” or “I’m Going to a Party, I’m going to a Fair” and who else would be so besides herself when she thought an injustice had been done. She had to endure so many heart wrenching experiences in her life, but she also had such an unquenchable thirst for life, love, fairness, and laughter. I miss and love her.

Barbara,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I was out of town last Wednesday, otherwise I would have been at your Mother's
service.
My best wishes to you and your family for a healthy new year.

To the Carnel Family, Please accept my sincere condolences upon the passing of your dear mother, Ethel. I got to know her many years ago when I worked at the Woodridge Bank where she and your dad were customers. I marveled at her zest for life! To this day I can see her light up a room when she entered with a flourish that only Ethel could do! May warm and nurturing memories help sustain you now and always. Sincerely, Richard.
