Obituary of Joseph V. Elias

Joseph Victor Elias of West Palm Beach, FL, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, at the age of 94.

Joe was known for his quick wit, kind heart, and love of laughter. He touched the lives of everyone he met, always seizing the opportunity to share a joke and bring smiles and joy to those around him.

He was a beloved father, husband, brother, and life partner, and his warm smile always brightened the room. He is survived by his daughter Mia, his son Michael, son-in-law Robert, and his former spouse Shirley, with whom he shared 29 years. Additionally, he is survived by his sister Phyllis, her husband Robert, and their children Hayden and Ira, along with their families.

Joe was predeceased by his true love, Norma Goldfarb, with whom he shared 27 wonderful years. He is also survived by Norma's children, Peter, Amy, and Ellie, and their families.

Joe left this earth with a legacy of smiles and loving memories, and he will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 6, 2026 at 1:00pm at the Glen Wild Synagogue Cemetery, Marsh Road, Glen Wild, NY.
