Obituary of Rebecca J. Friedman

West Palm Beach, FL - Formerly of Sullivan County, NY

Rebecca Friedman, a resident of West Palm Beach, Florida, passed away unexpectedly at home on Friday, April 3, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on September 4, 1963, in New York, she was the daughter of Dr. Harold Friedman and Naomi Parker Friedman.

Rebecca will always be remembered as an advocate for abused and abandoned animals. She was an accomplished author and continued her education by earning a Master's degree in writing.

She is survived by her siblings, Micah Friedman and Betina Farkas, as well as her nieces, Nataha and Tatiana Farkas, and her nephew, Daniel Farkas.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at 3:00pm at the Landfield Avenue Synagogue Cemetery, Old Thompson Road, Monticello, NY.
