Obituary of Judith Lynn Kronenberg

Pittsburgh, PA - Formerly of Woodridge. NY

Judith (Judy) Livson Kronenberg, age 92, passed peacefully on June 18, 2026.

She is survived by son William (Janis) Kronenberg and daughter Lisa (Robert) Miller, granddaughters Alexis Kronenberg and Jenna Kronenberg (Daniel Zambrano) and great-granddaughter Nora Zambrano.  She will also be remembered by her nieces and their families.  She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Kronenberg, in 2014.

Judy grew up in Port Jervis, NY and moved to Woodridge, NY when she and Harold married, as Harold had a family laundry business. They were both involved in the community, volunteering their time and efforts in local organizations and groups. As Harold was the Fire Coordinator of Sullivan County, Judy had to listen to the emergency scanner 24/7. She often said that she felt like an honorary member of the fire department.

Judy was a loving mother and grandmother. She attended every birthday, dance recital, and holiday get together. She had a quick wit and had something to say about everything. When she later moved to Pittsburgh, PA she brought that firecracker spirit and endeared herself to those around her.

She will be missed.

A graveside funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 21, 2026 at 11:00am at the Woodridge Congregation Ohave Shalom Synagogue Cemetery, Marsh Road, Glen Wild, NY.
