Obituary of Edna May Marcus
Edna M. Marcus, of Mays Landing, NJ, passed away on August 7, 2017, at the Mainland Campus of AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was 90 years old.
Born on February 14, 1927 in Atlantic City, NJ, she was the daughter of Edna Westcott, and the youngest of three children. She was predeceased by her brothers, Albert and Robert and her beloved husband of 42 years, Milton Marcus.
She had two children, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughter Elaine Sullivan and her husband, Richard; their children Rick and his wife, Dana, Kathleen and her fiance Michah, and Michael and his wife, Nora; her son, Harold Marcus and his wife, Shelley; their children Ian, Trevor, and Scott and his wife, Sahrah, and their children Bracha, Avramy, Mendy, and Peri. She also leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews and their families.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at 2:00PM at the Mountaindale Synagogue Cemetery, Marsh Road, Glen Wild, NY with Rabbi Nachum Nathan officiating. Shiva will follow at the home of Harold and Shelley Marcus in Mountaindale.
