Although I only had the pleasure of meeting Bernie about 3 years ago through my friendship with Jil, my husband's family knew of Bernie and their restaurant since the late 70's. My father-in-law recalls many good times in their restaurant and especially deemed it as having THE BEST CHINESE FOOD! I just recently had the conversation with Bernie, Joy, and Jil just last month when visiting in Boynton Beach, FL, and it was a joy to reminisce and listen to the stories Bernie had to share with me. Being around Jil's parent's and especially Bernie always put a smile on my face and immediately I felt like family to them. He made it easy to love him❤️. He will be missed terribly, and remembered ALWAYS. Thank you Jil! Your friendship means so much and my heart goes out to you and your family for your loss. Our loving thoughts are with you.
