Accord Cemetery

Accord, New York

From the New York State Thruway (Interstate I-87)

Travel U.S. Route 209 South into Accord.
Make a right hand turn onto Boice Mill Road
The Cemetery is on the left hand side about 2-3 miles
The first Cemetery is the Kerhonkson Cemetery. The second cemetery is the Accord Cemetery

 From State Route 17

Travel U.S. Route 209 North through Kerhonkson and into the Town of Accord
at the bottom of the hill make a left onto Boice Mill Road
The Cemetery is on the left hand side about 2-3 miles

Ahavath Israel Cemetery & Swan Lake Cemetery

From NYC-Take the New York State Thruway North over the Tappan Zee Bridge, to Exit 16 Harriman.

Take Exit 16 go thru the toll and you will be on Route 17 West.  Take 17 West to Exit 100 Liberty. Follow directions from chapel.

 From the Chapel- Take Route 17 West to Exit 100, at the end of the ramp there is traffic light turn Left, go to the top of the hill and there will be another traffic light, you will turn Right at this light and you will be on Route 52 toward Loch Sheldrake.

 Follow Route 52 go thru the light at the turn off for the Sullivan County Veterans cemetery and the County Adult care Center, go past Rowley Lumber yard on the left, you will come up a light grade to a left turn for Ha-San-Na Rd, Make this left onto

Ha-San-Na Road.

 Go maybe in on this road ½ mile or so and you will see a cemetery on the right, go in the Main gate which has to brick pillars on either side.

 This is Ahavath Israel Cemetery on both sides of the driveway with the exception of the back leftside of the driveway after the trees, this is Swan Lake cemetery.

 The Swan Lake cemetery is on the Left side on the driveway just as you crest the grade on the back of the cemetery.

Anshe Tzaydik Cemetery & Ezrath Israel Cemetery

This is north of Ellenville, NY and Napanoch, NY on Route 209.

Take the NY State Thruway to Exit 16 Harriman.  Go thru toll and you are on Route 17 West.  Take 17 West to Exit 113 (Wurtsboro/Ellenville).  
Turn right at the end of the off ramp, toward Wurtsboro.  This is Route 209.
 Stay on 209 thru Wurtsboro, Spring Glen, Ellenville, Napanoch.  When you go thru the traffic light in Napanoch you are almost there.  You will go up a hill and see a cemetery on the left side of 209 this is Ezrath Israel cemetery.  
The right side of 209 opposite Ezrath Israel cemetery is a driveway that goes up a steep hill and a cemetery on top of that hill, this is Anshe Tzaydik.  You need to make a wide swing and go up this driveway to the top and you will see the grave.

Beth David Cemetery

From Monticello: Take 17 East to Route 6 onto the Palisades Parkway South to the George Washington Bridge, to the Cross Bronx Expressway to either the:

Throgs Neck or Whitestone Bridge to Cross Island Parkway, South to Hempstead Ave East Exit 26B to the Stop sign and merge into traffic, go past Belmont racetrack on your left, to Elmont Road, turn right on Elmont to the cemetery. Cemetery entrance is on the left.

Beth Israel Cemetery

From the chapel in Monticello and Ellenville: Take NY Route 17 East to the NYS Thruway South to the Exit for 287 and NJ Route 17 South. Take NJ Route 17 to either:

Garden State Parkway: Southbound leave Parkway at Exit 130 Route 1 North. Follow sign for Woodbridge Center Drive. Entrance is first right on Woddbridge Center Drive, across for the Woodbridge Mall. Go to phone in circle and wait .

New Jersey Turnpike southbound: Leave Turnpike at Exit No.13 (not 13A) Elizabeth. Take Route 1 South 81/2 miles and continue with to Woodbridge, you’ll pass a sign for the Woodbridge center Mall on you left and a Red Lobster & Chi Chil’s restaurant on you right.  Continue past Gill Lane and take the very next right turn for Woodbridge Center Drive.  This takes you across Route 1.  Cemetery entrance is the first right on Woodbridge Center Drive. Go to phone in circle and wait. 

Brotherhood Cemetery

FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO THE LANDFIELD AVNEUE SYNAGOGUE CEMETERY

BROTHERHOOD CEMETERY IS THE SECOND CEMETERY ON THE RIGHT AFTER THE LANDFIELD AVENUE SYNAGOGUE CEMETERY, THERE ARE TWO LARGE STONE PILLARS ON THE ROAD IN FRONT.

Cedar Park/Beth El Cemetery

From the chapel in Monticello or Ellenville: Take NY Route 17 East to the New York State Thruway South to the Exit for Route 287 and New Jersey Route 17 South.

From NJ Route 17:  NJ Route 17 South to Ridgewood Ave(Oradell). Follow signs towards Oradell, at the 4th traffic light make a left on Forest Ave. You will see the cemetery begining at the intersection of Forest Ave and Soldier Hill Road. Continue on Forest Ave to the main cemetery gates on your left. The administration building for Cedar Park and Beth-El is directly ahead as you enter. Follow signs for visitors parking.

Take Rte. 17 North (Paramus) - if coming from New Jersey
Route 87 North (Thruway) to Exit 16 - Harriman

Make a right at the light at end of ramp
Go to big intersection and make a left onto Anawana Lake Road
Go past Wal-Mart and follow signs for Hurleyville (a few miles)
Once in Hurleyville make a left onto Mongaup Road (just past Frankie & Johnnies Restaurant)
Eventually there will be a sharp right turn on Mongaup Road – do not go right!
Cemetery Road will be straight ahead at this bend in the road (look for sign)
Follow Cemetery Road until you run into the cemetery.

Stop at the stop sign. Merge into Traffic, just before Ikes Auto Parts Store (Dark blue or purple roof can’t miss it) on the Left there is a turn just before Ikes on the left make this turn,

This is Rock Ridge, to the 1st left turn and make the left,

you will be crossing over 17, go to stop sign and turn Right,

the cemetery is about 200 yards down on the Right side. 

Mount Hebron Cemetery

From the chapel: Take Route 17 East to the Exit for Route 6 to the Palisade Parkway to the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway to the Whitestone Bridge to Whitestone Expressway to Van Wyck Expressway to College Point Blvd exit. Turn right at College Point Blvd. to second traffic light. Turn left to cemetery

From Brooklyn: Belt Parkway East to Van Wyck Expressway North to Exit marked Long Island Expressway Eastern Long Island (Interstate 495). Cemetery is on right side of exit ramp.

From Queens: (West of Van Wyck Expressway) Long Island Expressway East (Interstate 495). Follow signs towards Van Wyck Expressway (do not get on Van Wyck Expressway). Bear right and use College Point Blvd exit. Bear right. Cemetery is just past traffic light.

From Queens: (East of Van Wyck Expressway) and Long Island: Long Island Expressway Westbound. Take Expressway West to Exit 22 College Point Blvd. make left at first light. At next light make left turn. Cemetery on right.

Mount Lebanon Cemetery

From the chapel: Route 17 East to the Exit for Route 6 (Palisades parkway) to the George Washington Bridge to the Cross Bronx Expressway to either:

White Stone Bridge follow signs to JFK airport to the Van Wyck Expressway to the Jackie Robinson Parkway, to Exit 4-Forest Park Drive/Myrtle Ave. Bear right to traffic light-left on Myrtle Ave one block to the Cemetery.

Triboro Bridge, continue on the Grand Central Parkway to the Jackie Robinson Parkway to Exit 4-Forest Park Drive/Myrtle Ave. Bear right to traffic light-left on Myrtle Ave one block to the Cemetery.

Mountaindale Synagogue Cemetery

Take 17 West to Exit 109, Rock Hill, get off the this exit, go to Stop sign at the end of the Ramp, and make a right turn and then a quick left turn on to Glen Wild Road.  (Look for the Exxon station and pass in front of it, if you go passed the Trading Post you went the wrong way) 

 **Take Glen Wild Road for about 4 miles maybe, and you will go pasted the Glen Wild synagogue, the Post office and over a little bridge just before you go up a step hill, there is a sign that says Cemetery’s on the left make this left turn, this is Old Glen Wild Road, go to fork in road bear left on to Marsh Road and go straight on this road to the cemetery’s. 

All of the cemetery’s are on the right side of the road.  Go until you see a driveway just past the Mountain Dale synagogue cemetery (fenced in cemetery with a large gate) and just before the Glen Wild cemetery (Non sectarian).  Make the right up the driveway and Mountain Dale synagogue Cemetery is on the right.  

 From Route 17 East:

 Route 17 East to Exit 109 Rock Hill.  Go to Stop sign at end of Ramp and turn left, go to stop sign and turn left again, then make the 1st right by Pizza the Rock and the Exxon Station this is Glen Wild Road Go to **above  

Mt. Carmel Cemetery

From the chapel: Route 17 East to the Exit for Route 6 (Palisades parkway) to the George Washington Bridge to the Tridboro bridge to the Grand Central Parkway to the Jackie Robinson Parkway toward Brooklyn. Exit at Cypress Hills Street, Exit 3. Make Right turn at traffic light, Mount Carmel is the first cemetery on the right, yellow brick building.

Mt. Eden and Mt. Pleasant Cemetery

Follow directions to Sharon Garden cemetery, but cross over the rail road tracks to the traffic light, make a left onto the Taconic State Parkway, north and follow to the first traffic light, make a right turn off the parkway onto Commerce St.  Follow Commerce Street about ½ mile to the cemetery.

Take NJ Route 17South to Route 4 East.
Follow Route 4East to Grand or Broad Ave Exit.(Last exit before the bridge)
Appox 5 minutes you will see a big green sign on your Right that says Fairview Ave.
Make a Right (Jug Handle to get to your left and up the hill on the other side which is Fairview Ave.
You will see a 7-11 Store on you left and we are 4 blocks up on the left.
You will see a sign Mt. Moriah Cemetery make left into cemetery.

New York State Thruway North Exit 16.  Go thru toll this is Route 17 West.  Take 17 West to Exit 98 Parksville Exit.  There is a traffic light at this Exit you can’t miss it.  Turn right and go to the 1st left, down the hill and up, the road will bank to the right; the cemetery is just up the road from this sharp turn on left side.

Sharon Gardens Cemetery

From Monticello: Take 17 East to the Tappenzee Bridge to Exit 8 the Cross Westchester to Exit 4 Hartsdale. Turn left at the light at the end of the off ramp. This is Route 100A North for about 2 1/2 miles, make a right turn onto Lakeview Ave, (this is immediately after a monument dealer) Follow Lakeview this goes to the cemetery, make left turn before train tracks into the parking lot of the cemetery.

South Fallsburg Hebrew Association Cemetery

Take the NYS thruway north to Exit 16 Harriman, go thru the tollbooth and you are on State Route 17 West.

Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery

Take the New York State Thruway North over the Tappan Zee Bridge, to Exit 16 Harriman.

 Take Exit 16 go thru the toll and you will be on Route 17 West.  Take 17 West to Exit 100 Liberty.

 Take Exit 100, at the end of the ramp there is traffic light turn Left, go to the top of the hill and there will be another traffic light, you will turn Right at this light and you will be on Route 52 toward Loch Sheldrake.

 Stay on Route 52 past the light at the Trading Post and Shop Rite to the next light at Sunset Lake Road (used to be called Infirmary Rd) Turn left at this light.  There should be a sign of the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery as well as the Sullivan County Adult Care Center and other County offices.

 The cemetery is on the left side of the road before the Adult Care center.

Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery

  • Travel on State Route 17B-Westbound-through Mongaup Valley and into White Lake
  • Once through White Lake, the cemetery is situated on the right hand side about 2-3 miles, there are 2 stone pillars at the entrance

Take Rte. 17 North (Paramus) - if coming from New Jersey

From Exit 106 turn left off the Exit and cross back over Route 17,
Make the 1st left turn it looks you are going back onto Route 17 but you will not be if you stay on the service road in front of Arthur Glick Truck sales this Bridgeville Rd, until you come to Johnsons Toyota, turn Right just passed the Toyota dealership onto Southwoods Road.
The cemetery is on the left side of Southwoods Roads about 200 yards from the turn off of Bridgeville Rd.

Woodbourne Synagogue Cemetery

From New York/New Jersey/Westchester/Rockland Area:

Take the New York State thruway north Route 87 to Exit 16 Harriman, go thru the tollbooth and you are on State Route 17 West.
Take 17 West to Exit 109, Rock Hill, get off the this exit, go to Stop sign at the end of the Ramp, and make a right turn and then a quick left turn on to Glen Wild Road. (Look for the Exxon station and pass in front of it, if you go passed the Trading Post you went the wrong way) . 
ON GLEN WILD ROAD GO ABOUT 3 -5 MILES DOWN.
GO PAST THE GLEN WILD POST OFFICE AND GLEN WILD SYNAGOGUE ON THE RIGHT GO ACROSS A LITTLE BRIDGE AND START GOING UP THE HILL, THERE WILL BE A LEFT HAND TURN THAT HAS A SIGN THAT SAYS CEMETREY WITH AN ARROW, MAKE THIS LEFT TURN. THIS IS OLD GLEN WILD ROAD.
GO UP THE HILL AND THE ROAD WILL FORK YOU WANT TO GO LEFT ON MARSH ROAD, A LITTLE WAYS DOWN WILL SEE A CEMETERY ON THE RIGHT GO PAST IT AND TURN INTO THE DRIVEWAY THAT RUNS BETWEEN THE CEMETERIES.
GO IN THE DRIVEWAY AND START UP THE HILL AND YOU WILL SEE A RIGHT TURN JUST PAST THE MOUNTAINDALE SYNAGOGUE CEMETERY ON THE RIGHT, MAKE THIS RIGHT AND GO STRIGHT BACK TO THE WOODBOURNE SYNAGOGUE CEMETERY.

From Route 17 East:

Route 17 East to Exit 109 Rock Hill. Go to Stop sign at end of Ramp and turn left, go to stop sign and turn left again, then make the 1st right by Pizza the Rock and the Exxon Station this is Glen Wild Road Go to **above

Woodridge Synagogue Cemetery

Workmen Circle #281 Cemetery & Glen Wild Synagogue Cemetery

Wurtsboro Synagogue Cemetery

From New York City/New Jersey/Westchester/Rockland Areas:

Take the New York State Thurway Route 87 North to Exit 16.  Go thru toll to Route 17 West to Exit 113 Wurtsboro/Ellenville Route 209.  At the end of the off ramp turn right onto Route 209.  Follow 209 past the Sylvin cemetery to a small cemetery just before the traffic light in Wurtsboro on the right side,  this is the Wurtsboro Synagogue Cemetery.

From Route 17 East:

Take Exit 113 and at the end of the ramp turn left and follow Route 209 past the Sylvin cemetery to the next cemetery on the right just before the traffic light in the village this is the Wurtsboro Synagogue Cemetery
