Obituary of Celia Sondak

CELIA SONDAK SEPT 26, 1917-AUGUST 11, 2013 KERHONKSON, NY AND WEST PALM BEACH, FL Celia Sondak, a retired financial officer for many years for Goody Record Co. and held many responsible positions throughout her career, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2013 in West Palm Beach, Fl.  She was born Sept 26, 1917 in Accord, N. Y. and lived in Kerhonkson for most of her life.  She was a.  She retired to Kerhonkson and became very active in the community.  She was treasurer of the Kerhonkson Seniors, Ellenville Sisterhood of Ezrath Israel, and treasurer of Ellenville Hadassah.  She was also active in the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary and a volunteer at the Ellenville Community Hospital. She is survived by her brother, Benjamin.  Her sister-in- law, Beverly Sondak, and many nephews and nieces.  She was predeceased by her brother, Sol Sondak, Oscar Sondak, and Sister, Ruth Sondak. Funeral services will be held Thursday 1:00pm at the Kerhonkson Jewish Center and burial will be in the Kerhonkson-Accord Jewish Farmers Assoc cemetery Kerhonskon, NY.
