Obituary of Sheldon Seymour Ackerman

Sheldon Seymour Ackerman Monticello, New York June 8, 1926-Nov 10, 2013 Sheldon Ackerman the retired owner and operator of Spiral Screw Corp of Brooklyn, NY and longtime area resident, died on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Catskill Regional Medical Center, Harris, NY. He was 87. Sheldon was a World War II Army Veteran, born in Washington Heights, NY on June 8, 1926 the son of Benjamin and Norma Blackman Ackerman. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Audrey at home in Monticello, his two daughters; Sheryl Ackerman of Florida and Randye Ackerman and her husband Israel of Montgomery, NY, his grandchildren, Brent, Ana, Tracy, Ish, and Paige and his great granddaughter Brianna. Sheldon was predeceased by two sisters. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at 1pm in the Sullivan County Veterans Cemetery Sun Set lake Road, Liberty, NY.
