Robert Scott Sisselman of Parksville, the chief operating officer of Keiser Equipment in Livingston Manor, died Monday, August 28, 2006 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center in Harris. He was 35. The son of Judith Goldblatt Sisselman and the late Stephen Sisselman, he was born July 13, 1971 in Middletown. Robert was a homegrown boy who was devoted to his family and friends, especially his two cherished daughters. His reassuring smile and caring personality gave comfort to those in his company. He had a special talent for making those around him feel warm and loved. He lived life on his own terms and will be sadly missed. He will be in our hearts forever and his memory will live on through his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, April Wendler Sisselman and their two daughters, Lexi Shay and Zoe Sara, all at home; his mother, Judy Sisselman of Parksville; a brother, Keith Sisselman of Parksville; his paternal grandparents, Irving and Gladys Sisselman of Rockaway, N.J.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, business associates and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 31 at 1 p.m. at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home, 388 Broadway in Monticello. Rabbi Irving Goodman will officiate. Burial will follow in the Parksville Synagogue Cemetery in Parksville. Memorial contributions can be made to a charity of one's choice.
