Obituary of Frieda Streigold

FRIEDA STREIGOLD WOODRIDGE, NY Frieda Streigold, a longtime resident of Woodridge, NY and a retired bookkeeper for both Kessler and Kagan Meats in Woodridge, died on Friday, November 25, 2005 in DelRay Medical Center, DelRay, Fla. She was 80. Frieda was born in Brooklyn, NY on February 22, 1925 the daughter of the late Morris and Becky Horowitz. Frieda was a longtime member of Congregation Ohave Sholom in Woodridge, and she was the widow of the late Harold Striegold who passed in 1994. She is survived by her three sons; Steven Streigold and his wife Wendy of Valley Stream, Seymour and his wife Llyle of Long Beach, NY and Howard and his wife Mindy of West Palm Beach, Fla, her daughter; Barbara Divack and her husband Lonnie of Woodbury, NY and her two brothers; Harold Horowitz of Woodridge and Abraham Horowitz and his wife Judy of St. Louis, and her seven grandchildren; Geri, Bonnie, Matthew, Jason, David, Scott and Brian. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 27, 2005 at 10am in Congregation Ohave Sholom the Woodridge Synagogue, with Rabbi Irving Goodman officiating. Burial will be in the Woodridge Synagogue Cemetery Marsh road Glen Wild, NY.
