Obituary of Mildred Barash

MILDRED EIGER BARASH KERHONKSON, NY Mildred E. Barash, a retired manager for a department within the Fire Department of the City of New York and a longtime resident of Kerhonkson, died on November 28, 2005 in Benedictine Hospital in Kingston. She was 88. Mildred was born in Brooklyn, NY on August 2, 1917 the daughter of Samuel and Pauline Levine Eiger. She lived in Rego Park, Queens most of her life and was a resident of Kerhonkson and Plantation, Fla. She was the widow of the late David Barash who died in 1978 and Louis Scheiner who died in 2004. She is survived by her children; A. Jeffrey Barash and his wife Wendy, Barry Jon Barash and his wife Janine and Cheryl Jill Cowan and her husband Randy, her grandchildren; David Barash and wife Laura, Joshua Barash, Scott Haar, Pamela Sue Barash, Dana Barash and Heather Haar. Graveside funeral services will be held today, November 30, 2005 at 11am in Beth Israel Memorial Park Cemetery, Woodbridge, NJ. Family requests that donations in memory of Mildred be made to a charity of ones choice. .
