Obituary of Rose Fiddle

ROSE FIDDLE PARKSVILLE, NY Rose Fiddle, a lifetime resident of Parksville and the founder and proprietor of the Hi-Way Inn in Parksville passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2006 in Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris. She was 97. Rose was the widow of the late Jacob (Jack) Fiddle who passed in 1988 after fifty years of a devoted and blissful marriage to Rose. She was born in the Bronx on July 14, 1908 the daughter of the late Samuel and Miriam Levine Beatus. Rose was a Life member of Hadassah, a member of Cong. Teferef Anshe Synagogue of Parksville and a member of the Liberty Chapter of the Eastern Star, and a devoted Yankee fan who never missed a game. Rose left this world as she lived, feisty, strong willed and responsible, and mentally sharp as a tack. Although she had strong opinions, she was always deeply concerned for the well being of the ones she loved. We thought that she would have lived forever or at least to be 110 years old, because if anyone could do it definitely would be Rose Fiddle. We will miss her dearly. She leaves behind her devoted daughter; Rachelle Klugman and her husband Lewis of Parksville, her loving son Seymour Fiddle and his wife Lois of Boynton Beach, Fla and her eight loving grandchildren and there spouses, her sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Rose was sadly predeceased by her loving son; Joseph Fiddle and her great grandson Daniel Jordan Fiddle. Graveside funeral services will be held today, Thursday, February 16, 2006 at 12:30pm in Cong Teferef Anshe (Parksville Synagogue) Cemetery Parksville, NY. Rabbi Irving Goodman will officiate. Donations in memory of Rose may be made to: The Daniel Jordan Fiddle Foundation 450 Knollwood Rd, Ridgewood, NJ 07450 or the United Way of Sullivan County or to a charity of ones choice.
