Obituary of Jean Friedman
JEAN FRIEDMAN
TAMPA, FL & ELLENVILLE, NY
Jean Friedman, a longtime Ellenville resident and the widow of Leon Friedman, died on Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at her home in Tampa, Fl. She was 78.
Jean was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 27, 1926, the daughter of Anna and Morris Bessner, Jean moved to Ellenville with her late husband Leon who owned and operated Ellenville Vending Company. Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is a member of Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue and the Ellenville Chapter of Hadassah.
She is survived by her, daughter; Iris Friedman and her husband Dennis Werner of Ellenville, his sons; Robert Friedman and his wife Gail of Stone Ridge, Stewart Friedman and his wife Billie of Tampa, Fl, son-in-law; Mal Milton of Richmond,Va, her grandchildren; Cara and Jesse Warner, Alex and Rachel Friedman, Abigail, David, Emma and Noa Friedman, and Allison Baker and her husband Harry, Josh Milton and his wife Lori and her three great grandchildren; Zachary and Emilee and Harry, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Michele Milton.
Funeral services will be held today, Friday, April 15, 2005 at 2pm at Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square, Ellenville, NY. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate. Burial will be in Ezrath Israel Cemetery Route 209 Wawarsing.
