Obituary of Edward Mason

EDWARD MASON ROCK HILL, NY AND DELRAY BEACH, FL Edward Mason, former owner of Mason Realty and Mason Country Club, died peacefully at home with his family at his side on Sunday, January 1, 2006. He was 82. Edward was the son of the late Morris and Rose Mason; he was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 4, 1923. He attended Cornell University at the age of 15 and was an early investor and pioneer in the manufactured housing industry. He is survived by his devoted son, Albert Mason of Montague, NJ, his loving daughter Darlene Mason Edelman and her husband Mark of Vischers Ferry, NY, and his companion Harriet Weisbrod of Valley Glen, Ca, and his brother, Rockwell Mason of Monticello. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 4, 2006 at 10am in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate. Burial will follow.
