Obituary of Julius Dishner

JULIUS DISHNER SOUTH FALLSBURG, NY Julius Dishner, a retired plumber for Gold Mechanical in South Fallsburg, and longtime area resident, passed away on Fathers Day June 19, 2005, at Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris. He was 86. Julius was born on June 3, 1919 in New York City the son of Ruben & Rose Milchman Dishner. He worked the Navy shipyards during World War II, and later became the owner of Dishners Bungalows. Julius was a member of South Fallsburg Hebrew Association, the Fallsburg Fire Department, the South Fallsburg Senior Citizens Club, and the Harmony Lodge of the Knights of Pythias. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 60 years; Annette Rosenthal Dishner at home in South Fallsburg, his three sons Stephen Dishner and his wife Brenda, Sheldon Dishner and Linda Fox and Albert Dishner and his wife Linda, his sister; Anita Lipschitz of South Fallsburg, his seven grandchildren; Robert Dishner and his wife Karen, Scott, Chad, Rebecca, and Jack Dishner, Shira Aaron and her husband Scot and Tanya Ofer and her husband Adam,and his four great grandchildren; Drew Aron, Samantha and Emma Ofer and Nathaniel Dishner. Julius was pre deceased by his brother William Dishner. Funeral Services will be held today, Monday, June 20, 2005 at 1pm in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello. Rabbi Yakov Barros will officiate. Burial will be in the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association Cemetery Marsh Road Glen Wild, NY. Funeral Arrangements by Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. Monticello.
