Obituary of Eva Jones

EVA JONES NEW YORK, NY FORMERLY OF MONTICELLO, NY Eva Jones the widow of the late Leon Jones who passed in 1985, and longtime resident of Monticello, died on Thursday, January 12, 2006 in New York City. She was 93. Eva was born in New York City on September 2, 1912 the daughter of Zeus and Bia Dolanesky Kushner. She was a former member of Temple Sholom in Monticello, an active member of the Democratic club, a Life member of Hadassah, and other various Jewish organizations. She is survived by her son; Dr. Paul Jones and his wife Jessica of Monticello, her daughter; Laura Jones of New York, NY and her four grandchildren; Alexander, Samantha, Zachary and Lawrence Jones. She was predeceased by her brothers Abe and Lou Kushner. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, January 15 at 11am in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc 388 Broadway Monticello, NY.
