Obituary of Mildred Cohen

MILDRED COHEN MONTICELLO, NY Mildred Cohen a longtime resident of Monticello, NY, died peacefully at home on Sunday, July 23, 2006. She was 98. Mildred was born in Poland on March 27, 1908 the daughter of Mendel Reuven and Frumah Cohen. She is survived by her three sons; Morton Cohen, George Cohen of Monticello and Bernard Cohen of Bethel, and her daughter Marilyn Kalson, her six grandchildren; Sara Ann, Mitchell, Ericka, Elizabeth, Steven and Elli and her six great grandchildren; Mari, Megan, Lindsey, Jared, Haley and Carley. Funeral Services were held on Monday, July 24, 2006 at 2:30pm in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello. Rabbi Ben Zion Chanowitz officiated. Burial was in the Liberty Street Synagogue Cemetery Thompson Road Monticello. The family will be sitting Shiva until Friday, July 28, 2006 in the afternoon at Mildreds home in Monticello.
