Obituary of Nathan Jay Klugman
NATHAN JAY KLUGMAN
PARKSVILLE, NY
Nathan J. Klugman a retired Training Specialist for the New York State Department of Labor in Albany, and longtime area resident died on Friday, March 31, 2006 at home. He was 65.
Nathan was born in Liberty, NY on March 25, 1941 the son of the late Aaron and Elaine Lafayette Klugman. Nathan was a graduate of Liberty High School and Union College, he was Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam conflict from 1965-1967.
Nathan Jay Klugman was a private, kind, warm and gentle man. He was a loved and close part of the Klugman Family. Nate was always there for his family in times of happiness and in sorrow. We will miss his quick wit, his sharp intellect, and his warm assuring smile. He was a wealth of knowledge and a strong shoulder to lean on. We will always remember his selflessness and his ability to make us feel relaxed and loved.
He leaves behind his best friend and loving brother; Lewis M. Klugman and his wife Rachelle of Parksville, his sister; Mary Klugman of New York City and Parksville, his adoring niece Michele Klugman Resnick of Rock Hill, his dear nephew; Michael Klugman and his wife Kristin of Florida, NY and his two great nieces and one great nephew; Mara and Jonathan Resnick and Olivia Klugman who loved with all their hearts.
Nathan was predeceased by his sister Sara Klugman and his parents Aaron and Elaine.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 2 at 1pm in Ahavath Israel Cemetery Hy-San-Na Road Liberty, NY. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate.
