HERMAN HY ALTSCHULER LIBERTY, NY Hy Altschuler, a retired Draftsman for EDO of College Point, NY, died on Saturday, November 4, 2006 in Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris. He was 88. Hy was born in the Bronx, NY the son of Morris and Celia Altschuler. He was the widower of the late Helen Goldberg Altschuler who passed in April of 2001. He is survived by his son; Alan Altschuler and his wife Susan of Herndon, VA and his grandchildren; Zachary and Erin, and his brother Robert Altschuler of Peekskill, NY The family will receive friends at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home 388 Broadway Monticello from 7 to 9pm on Tuesday, November 7, 2006. A graveside funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 8, 2006 at 11am in the Cedar Park Cemetery Paramus, NJ. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate. Donations in Hys name may be made to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 11 Marshall Road, Suite 1-H Wappingers Falls, NY 12590.
