Obituary of Lottie Grossinger

LOTTIE GROSSINGER LIBERTY, NY Lottie Grossinger, a retired hotel clerk at the former Grossingers Resort Hotel in Liberty, died on Monday, November 27, 2006 in the Sullivan County Adult Care Center Liberty, NY. She was 82. Lottie was born in Poland on April 7, 1924 the daughter of the late Samuel and Sheindel Schechter. She was a member of Ahavath Israel Synagogue in Liberty, the sisterhood of Ahavath Israel and Hadassah. She is survived by her daughter; Sheila Zayas and her husband Rafael of Liberty, her son; Arthur Grossinger and his wife Monica of Liberty, her brother; Jacob Weinberger and her sister; Mordechai Schehter both of Israel. She is also survived by her three grandchildren; Rafael, Pauline, and Lori and her great grandson Benny. She was predeceased by her husband Sam Grossinger. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at 2pm in Ahavath Israel Synagogue Chestnut St. Liberty, NY. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate. Burial will be in Ahavath Israel Cemetery Hy-San-Na Rd Liberty, NY. Funeral arrangements by Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Monticello.
