Obituary of Jean Levine

Jean Levine Plainview, Long Island Formerly of Monticello, N.Y. Jean Levine, a longtime resident of Monticello, NY, died on Tuesday, January 16, 2007 in Plainview, Long Island. She was 83 years of age. Jean was born October 6, 1924 in the Bronx to the late Nathan and Dora Binder Ott. She was the widow of Bernard, Blaib Levine who passed away on March 15, 2000. Jean is survived by her daughter, Ena Haase and her husband Yoram, of Plainview, Long Island and a son, Jonathan Levine and his wife Judy of Liberty, NY. She also leaves her five loving grandchildren, Noa Tal Haase, and Sharon Mirit Haase of Plainview, Long Island, and Jared Levine, Jeffery Levine, and Jason Levine of Liberty, NY. She was predeceased by one brother William Ott and her sister Nettie Ott and one nephew Richard Ott. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 1 PM in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home, 388 Broadway, Monticello, NY. Rabbi Ben-Zion Chanowitz will officiate. Burial will be in the Woodridge Synagogue Cemetery, Marsh Rd. Glen Wild, NY.
