Obituary of Elsie Feldman

ELSIE FELDMAN Formerly of South Fallsburg, N.Y. Elsie Feldman, the retired co-owner and operator of Feldman's Restaurant in South Fallsburg, and longtime area resident, passed on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in the Hebrew Home in Riverdale, N.Y. She was 104. She was born in Poland on April 15, 1902 the daughter of Eli and Bella Sperling. Elsie was the widow of the late Hyman Feldman. She was a member of the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association, Hadassah and the Order of the Eastern Star. She is survived by her daughter; Toby Kaufman of Yonkers, and her grandchildren; Mitchell and Adam Kaufman, and several nieces and nephews. Elise was predeceased by one grandson; Philip Kaufman, her sister; Faye Steinberg, and her brother; Nathan Sperling. Graveside funeral services will be held today, Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 3 p.m. in the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association Cemetery, Marsh Rd. Glen Wild, N.Y. Rabbi Y. Barros will officiate.
