Obituary of Helen Greenberg Sunshine

HELEN GREENBERG LAUNER (SUNSHINE) BOCA RATON, FL Helen Greenberg Launer (Sunshine) passed from this life on April 6, 2007 in Boca Raton, Florida Helen was born July 26, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Harry and Yetta Greenberg. A 1942 graduate of Seward Park High School in Manhattan, she was the widow of Jack M. Launer, an international businessman and leading proponent of aluminum as a raw material for consumer products, who predeceased her in October 1973. She was also the widow of the late George Sunshine. She was unique and not like any other mother. She spent a glamorous life as a prominent resident of Ellenville, NY and the Catskills during the regions industrial and hotel golden era of the 1950's and '60's Helen was the Mother of Richard, Marc, Linda and Gregg; mother-in- law of Caryl, Hai Young, Blanche; grandmother of Dennis and Jacques; great-grandmother, and aunt, and the Sister of Claire.. Funeral services will be held at 1PM on April 11 at Congregation Ezrath Israel in Ellenville. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate. Burial will be in the Ezrath Israel Cemetery Route 209, Wawarsing, NY. In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Congregation Ezrath Israel and American Friends of Mogen David Adom. Funeral arrangements by Riverside-Gordon and Joseph N.
