Obituary of Shirley Goldstein

SHIRLEY GOLDSTEIN WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, NY Shirley Goldstein, a lifelong resident of Sullivan County, died peacefully on April 21, 2007 in Liberty, NY. She was 73. Shirley was the daughter of the late Samuel and Sadie Luboff of Youngsville, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Martin, who passed on February 21, 2003. She was an active member of Congregation Ahavath Israel in Liberty, a member of Hadassah and secretary of the Liberty Sisterhood and volunteered many hours at Charity Thrift Store in Liberty. She is survived by her three loving children, Joanne Rose and her husband Eugene of Pine Bush, NY, Alan Goldstein of White Sulphur Springs, and David and his wife Lynn Goldstein of Woodbourne. She also is survived by her four grandsons, Aaron and Justin Rose, of Pine Bush, and Sam and Jason Goldstein of Woodbourne. She is also survived by her Sister Temi Wall of Florida and her nieces Marsi Wall of Florida, and Barbara Lobosco, of Boston, and her brother-in-law Bill Goldstein of NJ. Shirley was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who will be truly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at 11AM in Congregation Ahavath Israel Synagogue Chestnut St. Liberty, NY. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate. Burial will be in Ahavath Israel cemetery, Hy-Sa-Na Road, Liberty, NY. Shiva will be observed at The Goldstein Farm, White Sulphur Springs until Friday at 2:00 PM. Memorial contributions can be made to Congregation Ahavath Israel or a charity of ones choice. Funeral arrangements by Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. Monticello.
