Obituary of Maurice Rubin

MAURICE RUBIN SACKETT LAKE, N.Y. Maurice Rubin, a retired New York MTA signal foreman, and a 47 year resident of Sackett Lake, died on Tuesday, May 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He was 89. Maurice was born on August 23, 1917 in New York City, the son of Harry and Rose Schitzer Rubin. He is survived by his daughter; Hillary Ratigan and her husband James of Whitestone, N.Y., his son; Dr. Jeffery Rubin and his wife Sandy of Albuquerque, NM, his Brother-In-Law; Herbert Kaplan and his wife Eppie of Livingston Manor & Fla, his Sister-In-Law; Elaine Graff and her husband Morton of Monticello & Fla, his Sister; Helen Rubin of New York, N.Y. and her seven grandchildren: Jason, Mackenzie, Sydney, Lexie, Jessie, Craig, and Tyler, and several nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his wife survived of 52 years Janice. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2007 at 10:30am in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello. Burial will be in the Workman Circle #281 cemetery Glen Wild.
