Obituary of Murray Malman

Murray Moose Malman Woodridge, NY Murray Malman, 85, lifelong resident of the Town of Fallsburg, died on May 8th in the Catskill Regional Medical Center. "Moose" was a loving husband, father and grandfather, and was predeceased by his wife Beatrice in 1995. He is survived by his daughter Janie, of Woodbourne, his son Gary,of Mountaindale, and Daughter-in-Law Robynne. He was "Papa Murray" to his adoring grandchildren, Lindsay and Joshua. He is also survived by his sister, Ruth Ruderman of Woodridge, nieces Bobbi Lovenheim and Judy Feder, who grew up with him, and many special nieces and nephews. Moose was a WW11 Veteran, a lifetime member of the Fallsburg Fire Department, member of the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association, a dedicated member and officer of the Lions' Club and community business owner of Malman's Hardware for 41 years. He enjoyed life with his family and multitude of friends and will be dearly missed. We love you Dad. Rest in Peace. Funeral service will be held at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home 388 Broadway, Monticello, at 12:00 noon on Thursday, May 10th.Burial will be in the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association Cemetery Marsh Rd. Glen Wild. Shiva will be in the Malman home on Overlook Drive in Mountaindale. Any donations in memory of Moose may be made to the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association or the Fallsburg Lions' Club.
