NORMAN KORNBLITH GARNERVILLE, NY Norman Kornblith, a retired salesman in the garment district in New York City, died on October 12, 2007 at home in Garnerville. He was 85. Norman was born in Brooklyn, NY June 22, 1922, the son of William and Sylvia Levine Kornblith. He was a veteran of the United States Army serving as a sergeant in WWII. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 35 years, Rissa Charnow Kornblith of Woodridge, NY.Cherished father of sons, Wade and wife Bonnie Kornblith, Dr. Howard K. Newhouse and wife Michelle, and his daughter Hayley and her husband James Vasquez. Funeral Services will be heldtoday, Sunday, October 14, 2007 at 11am in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello, NY. Rabbi Marvin Goldman will officiate. Burial will be in the Workman Circle Branch #281 cemetery, Glen Wild, NY. The family will receive friends at the Kornblith Residence immediately following services Sunday October 14, 2007. And will be sitting Shiva from Monday thru Wednesday 11-3 and 4-8.
