Mary Klass, a former waitress in many of the area of the hotels, and the widow of Walter Klass who died in 1989, died on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in the Roscoe Community Nursing, Roscoe, NY. She was 90.
Mary was born in Branford, Ct on December 11, 1917 the daughter of Stanley and Antoniosia Norashevis Meglin. She was a member of the Ferndale Synagogue.
She is survived by her three daughters; Marilee Gustafson of Jacksonville, FL, Sonia Larson and her husband Albert of Livingston Manor and Maxine Hoffman and her husband Edward of Highland Mills, her one brother and four sisters, and eight grandchildren; Rani, Deena, Justin, Andrew, Benjamin, Gregory, Adam and Chip and nine great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held today, Friday, January 4, 2008 at 9:30am in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello, NY. Burial will be in the Ferndale Synagogue Cemetery Parksville, NY.
Shiva will be observed at the Larson Home on Friday from 2 to 4pm and Sunday from 1 to 5pm.
