BERNARD CHESTER DELRAY BEACH, FL AND MONTICELLO, NY Bernard Chester a retired business owner and longtime area resident died on Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in Hospice by the Sea Boca Raton, Fl. He was 82. Bernie was born in Brooklyn, NY on April 4, 1925 the son of Alex and Gussie Mandel Chester. He was World War II Army Veteran. He was a member of the JWV, the Knights of Phthisis and Workman Circle Brand #610 Monticello He is survived by his wife Irene at home, his two sons; Jeffrey Chester and his wife Kathleen on Monticello and Stewart Chester and his wife Patrice of Rock Hill, his sister; Dorothy Mar of Florida and his three grandchildren; Jamie Chester of NYC, Lyndsey Lentini of Kiamesha and Devon Chester of Rock Hill and his great granddaughter Alessia Lentini. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 6, 2008 at 1pm in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc 388 Broadway Monticello, NY.
