Obituary of Harriet Jessica Scheer

HARRIET JESSICA SCHEER MONTICELLO, NY Harriet Jessica Scheer, born on May 21, 1937 in Rochester, NY, the daughter of Benjamin & Rose Lipsitz Scheer, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 13, 2008 at her home on Swinging Bridge with her friends at her bedside. She was 70. Harriet was a resident of Sullivan County since 1981. She attended SullivanARC Day Programs. Harriet loved to watch TV especially the Soaps and she enjoyed reading the newspaper. Harriet loved to laugh and her sense of humor was contagious to those who heard her laughing. Harriet loved to talk to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. There are no immediate family members. Harriet however is survived by her extremely large extended family at SullivanARC, and especially her house mates and staff at the Rainbow House on Swinging Bridge. Funeral Services will be held today, Friday, January 18, 2008 at 2pm in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello, NY.
