Obituary of Hannah Rosnel

HANNAH ROSNEL ELLENVILLE, NY Hannah Rosnel, 74, resident of Ellenville for over 25 years, and the widow of Nathan Rosnel, lost her long battle with cancer on Sunday, April 13, 2008. Hannah was born on December 8, 1933 in NYC, the daughter of Louis and Rachel Taylor Sirota. She was a member of Congregation Ezrath Israel. Hannah was a homemaker, retired keypunch operator and dental assistance. Married in NYC & moved to Phillipsport, where they lived for a few years till they moved back to NYC. She and Nathan moved back to the area after retirement in 1976. She loved her family, friends, pets, gardening and decorating. She was a great humanitarian and a beloved parent, grandparent, Aunt and friend. She is survived by her children; Marlena Rosnel of Narrowsburg, NY, Irwin Rosnel of CA, Eileen Gavaris of Ellenville, NY, and her adopted daughter Sheila Kufert of NH, her grandchildren; John Gavaris of Ellenville, Roy Gavaris, Ben Bleazard of Narrowsburg, Elana Sterling of Ellenville, Anton Rosnel of CA and Amy Brennan of Fl, and her many beloved nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held today, Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 4pm in Congregation Ezrath Israel Synagogue Rabbi Eisner Square Ellenville, NY. Rabbi Moshe Frank will officiate.
