Obituary of Rose Kurke

Rose Kurke, 90 August 29, 1918 October 12, 2008 Loch Sheldrake, NY Rose Kurke, a retired school aide from the Bronx, died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at her home in Loch Sheldrake. She was 90. The daughter of the late Hyman & Lena Edelman, she was born August 29, 1918 in New York City. She is survived by her husband: Leonard Kurke, at home; a son: Stanley Gross of Suffern; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; a brother: Irving Edelman of the Bronx; and a sister: Mildred Behm of Cutchogue, Long Island. She was predeceased by a son: Allan; and a brother: Louis. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 16 at 10:00am at the Hurleyville Synagogue, Main Street in Hurleyville. Burial will follow at the Hurleyville Synagogue Cemetery in Hurleyville. Memorial contributions can be made to the charity of ones choice. Arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph N.
