Obituary of George Gusar

GEORGE GUSAR MONTICELLO, NY MARCH 26, 1917-NOVEMBER 8, 2008 George M. Gusar, a long time resident of Monticello, NY, and the retired owner and operator of Gusar's Pharmacy for many years, passed away on Saturday, November 8, 2008 after an illness in Worcester, MA. He was 91. George was born in Brooklyn, NYon March 26, 1917, the son of Phillip and Lena Madoolman Gusar. He was a World War II Army Veteran. He is survived by his two sons; Michael Gusar and Daniel Gusar, daughter in law; Jody Rubin, and grand daughters;Stacey Gusar and Jessica Gusar. His wife Rachel Gusar predeceased him in October 1994. Graveside funeral services will be held today, Sunday, November 9, 2008 at 1pm in the Brotherhood Cemetery on Thompson Road in Monticello. Rabbi Ben Zion Chanowitz will officiate.
