Obituary of Susan Kassman

Susan Kassman, 71 September 8, 1937 - November 13, 2008 Monticello, NY Susan Kassman, loving wife of Bob, mother of Glenn and Jeff, and grandmother of Julia, Paige and Drew died on Thursday, November 13, 2008, at the Sullivan County Adult Care Center in Liberty. She was 71. Mrs. Kassman, born September 8, 1937, in Bronx, New York, to Betty and Emmanuel Fleischer, was a longtime resident of Sullivan County. She loved to play scrabble and gin rummy spent and many years in the retail business, owning and managing hardware and variety stores with her husband of 51 years. Graveside funeral services will take place at the Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge, New Jersey, on Friday, November 14, 2008 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in the name of Susan Kassman be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2 Gannett Drive, White Plains, New York 10604.
