Obituary of Rosalind "Rozie" Pavloff

Rosalind "Rozie" Pavloff of Woodridge, NY & Delray Beach, FL October 25, 1930-December 19, 2008 Rosalind "Rozie" Pavloff, retired owner and operator of Murry's Dry Cleaners in South Fallsburg and a longtime resident of the Catskills, died December 19, 2008 at the Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach Florida, she was 78. Daughter of the late Max Lemberger and Ida Siegel Lemberger, Rozie was born in the Bronx on October 25, 1930. She and her family moved to Woodridge where she lived from the age of 3 years old. She was a member of the Hadassah Jewish Women's Inernational, The Woodridge Volunteer Ambulance Corps, Workmen's Circle, and member of the Woodridge Kiwanis, where she served as the first ever woman president. Rozie was a proud wife, mother, and grandmother and spent much time working on her ceramics. She will be missed. She is survived by her beloved husband, Murry Pavloff, of Delray Beach, FL; 2 sons, Andrew Pavloff and his wife Sherri, of Newburgh, NY, and Bruce Pavloff, of Slingerlands, NY; her 2 brothers, Dr. Louis Lemberger and his wife Myrna, of Indianapolis, ID, and David Lemberger, of Milwaukee, WI; and her 4 grandchildren, Matthew Pavloff, Adam Pavloff, Rachel Robinson, and Leah Robinson. Funeral services for Rozie will be held at the Woodridge Congregation Ohave Shalom Synagogue, on Monday, December 22, at 11:00am, with Rabbi I. Goodman officiating. Burial will follow in the Workmen's Circle Cemetery, Glen Wild. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home of Monticello.
