GERTRUDE RASNICK MAY 5, 1919 - January 31, 2009 Gertrude Rasnick , 89, of South Fallsburg, NY died on Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the Catskill Regional Medical Center Harris. Gertrude was the daughter of the late Abraham and Bertha Cohen. She was the widow of the late Albert Rasnick to whom she was married to for 64 years before his passing. She was a lifelong resident of South Fallsburg. Gertrude was a retired AT&T employee with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association, and a past member of Hadassah. She was dedicated to her family and friends. Gertrude leaves behind her three sons, David Rasnick of Kiamesha Lake, NY Rob Rasnick of Atlanta, GA and Bart Rasnick of South Fallsburg, her Daughter In-Law who Gertrude considered her daughter, Kathy Rasnick of South Fallsburg, her four grandchildren: Amy Sweet of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Rasnick of Atlanta, GA, Melissa Coxe of North Carolina, and Amanda Lucuara of Queens, NY, and her five great grandchildren; Marty Rasnick, Danny Sweet, Marrisa Rasnick, Elaine Sweet and Ashlyn Coxe. Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 2pm in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello. Burial will be in the South Fallsburg Hebrew Association Cemetery Marsh Rd. Glen Wild, NY. The family will be sitting Shiva at the home of Bart and Kathy Rasnick in South Fallsburg.
