Obituary of Eugene P Diamond

Eugene Phillip Diamond April 18, 1918-July 9, 2009 Liberty, NY Eugene Philip Diamond, 91 years old, passed away on Thursday, July 9th. He was pre-deceased by his wife, Shirley Berman Diamond and his son, Joseph Frances Diamond. Eugene is survived by his loving children, Rory, BJ & Lenny, Erin & Jay; grandchildren, Aynsley & Richard, Andrea, Jesse and great grandchildren, Olivia and Julian; and many close family and friends. Eugene was a graduate of Hofstra College where he majored in Business Administration and played baseball. He served in the US Army during World War II. For nearly 40 years Eugene was in charge of the electrical department at Sullivan County Wholesalers. He was an active member of Ahavath Israel Synagogue and the Liberty Rotary Club. He loved being with friends and family. He loved to sing, listen to music and dance at all happy occasions. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, July 12, 2009, 2 p.m. at Ahavath Israel Synagogue, 39 Chestnut Street, Liberty, NY.
