Obituary of Fredric Sabloff

Fred Sabloff October 13, 1942-July 8, 2009 66 years old Fredric William Sabloff of Plantation, FL, formerly a resident of both Liberty and Highland Mills, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 8, 2009. He was 66. The son of the late Phil and Helen Sabloff, he was born on October 13, 1942. He is survived by his partner of 10 years, Fay Decker, two sons, Jason Sabloff, of Ashburn, VA, Ben Sabloff and his wife Susan, and three grandchildren, Abigail, Livia and Eli Sabloff, of Prosper, TX, his brother Warren Sabloff and his wife Ellen, of Long Island, NY, his sister Stephanie Wasser and her husband Steven, of Wellesley, MA, his aunt Roz Lazar, of Boca Raton, FL and and several nieces and nephews. As an avid sports fan, longtime area businessman, and a former president of Congregation Ahavath Israel in Liberty, NY, Fred touched the lives of so many people and will be missed. Services will be held at Congregation Ahavath Israel in Liberty, NY on Sunday, July 12th at 11am with Rabbi Mervin Goldman officiating. Burial will follow in the Ahavath Israel Cemetery, Liberty.
