Obituary of Julius Arthur Holtzman

Julius A. Holtzman, 94 May 1915 - December 2009 Monticello, NY Julius A. Holtzman of Monticello died Tuesday, the 22nd of December, at the Catskill Regional Medical Center. He was 94. Julie Holtzman, as he was known, a long-time X-ray technician at Monticello Hospital and later the CRMC, was beloved by his patients and respected by his colleagues. His empathy, care and concern was deeply appreciated by those who received it and his expertise and professionalism was highly regarded by those who witnessed it. He was a well-loved fixture of the Monticello medical community and beyond. His physical decline began in December 2008 with the loss of Bebe, his beloved wife of nearly 60 years. Julie Holtzman is survived by his daughter, Naomi Holtzman Gordon, of Suffern, NY and his son, David Seppala-Holtzman, of Flushing, NY. Julie Holtzman was a kind, thoughtful man of humor and wit who loved music and nature. He will be memorialized at a private ceremony. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home of Monticello.
