Obituary of Sarah Feldberg

Sarah Feldberg, 91 December 22, 1918 - February 3, 2010 Monticello, NY Sarah Feldberg, a longtime area resident of Monticello, passed away on February 3, 2010 in Poughkeepsie. She was 91. The daughter of the late Max Frankel & Dora Chermansky Frankel, Sarah was born December 22, 1918 in New York City. A Family statement reads: She will be greatly missed by all of her family & those who were lucky enough to have their lives touched by Sarah. Sarah was a member of Temple Sholom in Monticello and worked for the Ethelbert B. Crawford Public Library for many years. She is survived by her three children: Martin Feldberg & his wife Alexandra of Fishkill, Robert Feldberg & his wife Henrietta of the state of Florida and Frances Menzie & her husband John of Pearl River; five grandchildren: Debra Arnemann & her husband Anthony, Robyn Stoehr & her husband Dennis, Melissa Whipps & her husband Christopher, Jeffrey Menzie & his fianc Holly Johnson, and Lisa Menzie; two great grandchildren: Sierra Arnemann & Amelia Whipps; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Sarah was predeceased by her husband Seymour Feldberg in 2005; a brother: Sidney Frankel; and a sister: Florence Stecker. Her funeral service will be held on Friday, February 5, 2010 at 1:00pm at Temple Sholom, 5 East Dillon Road in Monticello with Rabbi Michele Brand Medwin officiating. Burial will follow at the Temple Sholom Cemetery on Southwoods Drive in Monticello. Memorial contributions can be made in Sarah's name to Temple Sholom, P.O.
