Obituary of Harold Friedman

DR. HAROLD FRIEDMAN BOCA RATON, FLA Dr. Harold Friedman, the retired Chief of Surgery of St. John's Hospital in Yonkers, NY, passed away on Sunday, August 01, 2010 at his home in Florida, after a long battle with Alzheimers Disease. He was 83 years old. He was the son of George and Rachel Friedman. Dr. Friedman was born in Yonkers, NY on April 10, 1927. He joins his wife Naomi Parker Friedman in memoriam. Dr. Friedman is survived by his loving children Rebecca and Micah Friedman, Betina Farkas and son in law Leonardo Farkas, and grandchildren Natasha, Tatiana, and Daniel, and his sister Bernice Stewart. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 at 11am in the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home Inc. 388 Broadway Monticello. Rabbi Irving Goodman will officiate. Burial will be in the Landfield Ave Synagogue Cemetery Thompson Rd. Monticello. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Alzheimers Association.
