Obituary of Lillian Glick

Lillian Glick Formerly of Monticello, New York January 29, 1917-November 1, 2011 94 years old Lillian Glick, a devoted family woman and longtime resident of the area, died in the early morning hours of Tuesday, November 01, 2011 at the Francis E. Parker Memorial Home in Piscataway, NJ. She was 94 years old. The daughter of the late Samuel Field and Yetta Chernick Field, Lillian was born on January 29, 1917 in New York City, NY. Lillian will be remembered for her love of family, her integrity and character. She was also a very highly evolved person for the generation from which she came. As a continuous interest in learning, Lillian took college courses for decades being teased that if she had taken the courses for credit, she would have three college degrees. She played golf, loved to travel, enjoyed the arts, and was the most devoted to wife to her beloved husband. She is survived by her husband of 74 years, Alexander Glick; her daughter, Phyllis Telleri, of Metuchen, NJ; her grandchildren, Tracy Jordana Glick-Franzheim, of Los Angeles, CA, Gina Telleri-Huang, of Warren, NJ, and Greg Telleri, of New York City; & her 2 great grandchildren, Brandon and Chad Huang. In addition to her parents, Lillian was predeceased by her son, Michael Glick, her grandson, Richie Glick, and her son-in-law, Frank Telleri. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at 12:00pm at the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home, 388 Broadway, Monticello, NY 12701. Burial will follow in the Landfield Avenue Synagogue Cemetery in Monticello, NY. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Joseph N. Garlick Funeral Home of Monticello.
