Obituary of Morris Rosenstein

Morris Rosenstein of Monticello, a retired owner of Giant Mobile Home Service, passed away on Thursday January 19, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center in Wallkill. He was 85. The son of the late Hyman and Lottie Kabatchnick Rosenstein, Morris was born in Manhattan on August 13, 1931. Morris was a Korean War Veteran. Survivors include daughter, Beth Avery; son, Neil Rosenstein and his wife, Michelle; brother, Harry Rosenstein and his wife, Nancy of Florida; three grandchildren: Dylan Avery, Lexi and Aidan Rosenstein; step-granddaughter, Laurie Moeykens and her husband, Joe and their children: Maggie, Adam, Elliott and Michael of PA; several nieces and nephews; dear friend, Phillip Merriweather of Brooklyn and Jackie Dabbraccio and family. Morris was predeceased by his beloved wife Helene Jacobs Rosenstein. A graveside service will take place on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at 11:00AM at the Brotherhood Cemetery, Old Thompson Road, Monticello, NY with Rabbi Endre Stamler officiating.
