Obituary of Phil M. Kaplan

Phil Kaplan entered into eternal rest after a valiant battle with cancer surrounded by his family on Monday November 29, 2021. He was 70 years old.  Phil was the son of Meyer and Dorothy Kaplan and was born on September 2, 1951 in Monticello, NY. 

Phil was an avid Yankee Fan and heavily involved in the Fallsburg Little League for many years acting as coach, captain and president.  With his brother Robert, Phil owned and operated K-Brand Farms for 50 years.  Phil's brain child was Egg University, which gave tours to schools all over Sullivan County of a working egg farm.  

He is survived by his loving wife Anne, his five children Heather and her partner Matthew, Eddie and his wife Eryn, Randi, Nicole and her husband Donald,and Rachel and her partner Clayton.  He will be sorely missed by his 9 grandchildren, Kaylee, Steven, Jonas, Madelyn, Avery, Hunter, Grayson, Sara and Naia. He also leaves behind his brother Robert and his wife Merryl, and Karl and his wife Raelynn and predeceased by his brother Bruce along with many nieces, nephews and friends. He is missed by all. 

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 11:00am at the Congregation Anshei Glen Wild Cemetery, Marsh Road, Glen Wild.

Shiva will follow at The Kaplan Home and continue through Thursday evening.
